Hey peeps !!!
Today IS Sunday !!! wahaha !!! some people hate it some people love it !!!
BUT for me it’s a Love Hate relationship ... Why ??? Simple ... cuz i like it and like it at the same time :p
Haz cuz on Sunday i get to do what i want ... but usually it’s just hanging out with my friends and family ...
BUT today ... this particular Sunday i experienced many things ...
In the morning i went to my aunt’s place to help her settle some stuff and have breakfast ... i know ... some of u think it’s mundane and not worth blogging about but how many of u ... do ... and actually can take time out of your busy schedules for ur closed ones ???
So yeah the breakfast meant a lot to me :p
Anyways ... cuz i still had time before i met my cousin at 2.30st city hall, i lazed around at Sengkang’s LIBRARY ... super ... waste my time at the library ... but truth is that i still had some unfinished business to attend to ... that’s my school homework :P yeah ...
~my Maths tutorial, my Chinese passages and my Econs essay ~ yeah... there goes my break on Monday ... and i have to hit the library ... AGAIN ...
But anyways i managed to complete a couple of maths questions before i left the library ... and hardworking my continued on my way to City Hall in the ... MRT ...
Anyways ... meeting m cousin cuz i was going to have Weekend Tea with her before going for Slumdog Millionaire :p
Heard it’s a damn nice show and makes us ~feel good~ so yeah ...
But a rude shock was coming our way ... Pple ... i dun always go for tea like those super ~eng and rich~ tai tais ... so if i am going ... it means 2 things ... 1 – it’s someone’s treat ... 2 – got free coupons/vouchers and in this case it’s the latter :p
After having our Tea ... when the time came for payment ... i took out my coupon and ... they say cannot use !!! So we had to pay !!! and the worse thing is that the main reason why we had to pay was cuz it’s their fault !!!
On the coupon it says VENUE 1 with a no. But when i called, the person on the line said i could use it to make a reservation at VENUE 2, even after i specified and mentioned that the voucher mentioned VENUE 1 – ONLY ... the person on the line once again assured me that it was OK to do so and put me across to VENUE 2 to make a reservation ... so i did ... and after the meal ... people at VENUE 2 say cannot !!!!! alamak !!! but still i managed to make MY POINT and they say they will get back to me ...
BUT u see ... the meal started at 4.30 to 5.30 ... and my SHOW starts at 5.55 pm !!! we were at city hall ... the cinema’s at Plaza Sing ... So by the time we were finished making our case it was already 5.55pm! which effectively means we ARE LATE !!!
Lucky we bought our tickets liao ... BUT to make things worse it was raining !!! lolz ... life sucks man ... so we ran from VENUE 2 all the way to the MRT ... GOT WET ... and then took the train to PS ... and then run all the way up ~my cousin was in heels and i was not used to running in formal shoes~ BUT we still made it in time :p
